Back to Tom's Recipe Page Do not be surprised if these are some of the best muffins you have ever eaten! They do take a while to make and the batter is thick, but I do think you will find that they are well worth your effort. Eat warm with the Sunday paper! Ingredients: 2 cups flour Topping Directions: Preheat oven to 375. Combine topping ingredients until crumbly and set aside. Combine flour, salt, sugars, spices and baking soda and set aside. Combine apples, raisins, walnuts, eggs, cream cheese, butter, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, a little at a time, to apple mixture. Stir until just combined. Portion batter into prepared muffin tins. Sprinkle with topping. Bake 20-30 minutes, until light brown on top. Recipe can be doubled and muffins freeze well. Enjoy! Back to Tom's Recipe Page
